Tell your provider about any lump or swelling in your neck, hoarseness, trouble swallowing, or shortness of breath.
Do not use if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, or if you have had a serious allergic reaction to semaglutide, tirzepatide, or any ingredient in these medications.
Tell your provider if you have or have had pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, kidney disease, severe stomach or digestion problems, diabetic retinopathy, or a history of depression or suicidal thoughts.
Possible serious side effects include inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis), gallbladder problems, low blood sugar (especially if used with insulin or other diabetes medicines), kidney injury from dehydration, serious allergic reactions, and changes in vision. Seek care right away for severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, or signs of an allergic reaction.
Common side effects are mostly digestive — nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal discomfort — and often lessen over time.
